Arts and crafts hat/coat rack with copper motto

Very pretty arts and crafts wall mounted hat and coat rack , in golden oak with 4 copper repoussee panels with Legend 'Port After Stormy Seas' applied . Taken from Edmund Spenser's poem 'The Fairie Queen', it was made by Shapland and Petter of Barnstable and is a fairly rare piece . Overall good refinished condition and lacking a hook to each end upright , it retains its original fixing plates .
